WHY DO WE FIGHT IT
If you have looked at or read anything about my projects, I’m a Tung Oil guy. Except when the wife/boss wants something else. Not a big fan of the finishing part of woodworking. So anyway, the boss wanted me to make a drafting table for her to do takeoffs at work. It needed to be 1.5” x 53” x 37” and adjustable. No problem. Went to Rockler and picked up the hardware. Home Depot for the 3/4” MDF. Get home and 3 hours later we are ready to finish. I started out with a brush on Poly. Not a good idea. Brush marks everywhere. I saw hours of sanding and more coats in my future. If I have to put more coats on won’t there be more brush marks? ...
