i started this project with the aid of a tutor at our local carving class
i wanted to make my parents a house number plaque as theyve just moved home.
heres the pic on first day

after day two ive brought it home to finish as i cant get on any more carving courses :-(

so have just been doing bits when i have time

heres it so far
i have not put the house number on yet as i am undesided how to do this with having no expeeience of doing numbers ! as im new to carving and in the day the tutor didnt have time to show me !

well here it is. ive never done numbers before so hope it doesnt look too silly.
does anyone think i should paint the numbers so they stand out more ?
ive treated the wood and also stained it
