I have been looking around in my local area for a course on carving but i had no luck.
But nevertheless i still carried on trying to carve, but felt a bit frustrated because i think i need someones advise
anyway today i searched again on line and hey presto i found a course thats only a few miles away.
Im really excited its for 3 whole days and i rang the man up and he gave me all the info etc.
Sounds really good and cant wait as i think it will help me gain knowledge and tips.
Cant wait to start :-)

If you go to Woodcarvers Illustrated Message Board, you will get any answer you want
regarding woodcarving. I have been an avid wood carver for over 10 years, and member
of this fine group of world wide woodcarvers.

Good luck on the course. I hope that you can learn a lot because going the self-taught rout can be frustrating.

Thanku everyone
torpidhummer i have tried looking at online help etc and where it is useful i think to actually be there with a tutor and others would really benefit me. Its ok being alone trying to learn and yes its a good way to learn but i also feel it could be much easier with another human being helping me.
As charles says it can b frustrating. Im also looking forw ard to joining others along theyre journey too !
