I would think it would be close to what a bench would cost if you make it yourself with the cost of lumber and vises. No?

Most likely you are right but pricey for me cause I already have a workbench of sorts and don’t really have room for another.

With shipping it approaches $600… A heavy, rigid bench, with leg vise and end vise, can be built a couple hundred less than that, I think… And it’d resist racking (if you use hand tools / planes, especially) better than this one… My .02. Good luck, let us know what you decide!
