I scored some tiger maple, cherry and white oak yesterday and just had to try out the new router table with my new router bit I (Thanks Charles for the bit and Jim for the lead) The tiger was a piece I deemed not worth risking damage but as it turned out it came out great. I ran it over the jointer and it took about 4 passes to get the profile to the desired point.

I think I will make my grand daughters each a bridle chest they are 3 years old up to 11 years old. I guess I will start a blog or project series on it I am thinking Cherry and Maple. My guess is they will be used as toy chests for their dolls and whatever.

Have your say...
