It was all over ..again, we packed up and left Fox Studio till next year.
I participated full time in the show as exibitor for Sydney Woodturners Guild, in addition I was having three entries in Putting Timbers On Show In NSW, woodturning category. No…I did not win any of the three prizes, but I won the MERIT of which I’m still proud. I would like to congratulate the winners, they realy deserved them.
I enjoyed every moment of the show. My high light on Friday was meeting Grumpy. I’d like to thank Grumpy for coming to say ‘Hello Sam ’ and revealing his ID by revealing his L J t-shirt. I can asure you all that Grumpy was not as ugly as his profile photo was suggesting, he turnd to be a tall handsome man with shining smile and blue eyes, but the real Grumpy could be one of his close or, at least, distant reletive….LOL.
ALSO, on Sunday, I met my friend Dr. Chin, the puzzle man. He showed me his letest, a very complicated, actual size wooden apple puzzle which you can not open only by spinnig. He is amazing man. I’m realy proud to be one of his friends.
All three days, I was looking forward to meet Broda, the youngest L J, I think, and one of my buddies and ,for his age, he is an excellent woodturner. I’m sorry, Broda, if you came and I was not there, for some times I went for window shoping… That was all I could do.
I will have rest for few days and see you soon with a new project.
