New arrivals to the shop #1: New to the shop

I guess to start this blog off. It seems that I am continually adding new tools or upgrading tools in the shop. Instead of continuously changing the six pictures in my profile I figured that I would post pics here and see how that went.
Sooo.. withouth further delay.

I went to the annual Estool tool auction yesterday. I didn’t get everything that I wanted, but I did bring home a much better drillpress, pictured below. I upgraded from a clark metalworker drillpress. It was a great little drillpress that I upgraded with a table and a jackobs keyless chuck. Upgrades which will now be added to the new Delta. As you can see, I have already added the table. I was having a bit of trouble getting the mandrel off of the chuck, that is why it is not installed yet. I really like the new Powermatic drillpress, but was hesitant to spend so much money on a drillpress, so this is my compromise.

I plan on doing quite a bit of upgrades to the shop soon and I will post the events here as I progress.
