8" Woodtek Restore #2: Restore Complete. Or 95% Complete anyway

This refurb was one of the biggest machines I have worked on that has a top speed of 0 mph. It took some months to complete due to the complete tear down painting and rebuild. Most every part had some sort of combination of rust, dirt, grease, and wood chips. The easy part was cleaning the table top. After that I had to remove the jointer cast iron top and base from the sheet metal stand. The stand was bent up, beat up and rusted and so down to metal for you. After some paint and reattaching the WoodTek logo on the front it looked much better. With the base restored and motor remounted (and rewired for 220) it was time to tackle the jointer proper.
