I'm a now-and-then woodworker who likes to make useful things for around the house when they're needed or when I have a little spare time to work on them. I like working with MDF because of its uniformity, but wish it had greater strength and water resistance.
I have some nice Incra positioning equipment for my tablesaw, router, and drill press, and some good Incra measuring tools. If I had more time I'd learn how to do some of the over-the-top fancy joinery that Inca shows in its ads.
I'm toying with the idea of getting a 3D "printer" to make complicated parts that are too hard (or impossible) to make with woodworking equipment. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3D_printing)
