So the other night we went to a local pizza joint for dinner. My 3 year old son sat down at the table and pointed to it then said “Is this pine?” Ironically I it was. I guess those trips to Home Depot are having an affect.

Well done Russ Junior! keep it up. My 6 year old daughter can identify most woods I work with, and I work with many. Start them young, I say.
