Buddies | view all 26 »1309 posts in 1277 days Location: janesville, ca I am an elementary school teacher. I just moved to 2nd grade after 16 years in middle school. I have been working with wood for 30 years. I have worked in home construction and remodeling. I mostly do projects for my own home. In the past 3 years, I have returned to turning and like to use exotic wood to turn plates and bowls. I have begun to sell at craft shows in our local area. When I retire in 4 years, I plan to be found in my shop most of the time. I now put in about 20 hours a week there. I still love teaching, but woodworking gives me a different sense of accomplishment. I have been happily sucked into the world of box making. And I thought Turning was addictive. The great examples on LumberJocks keep me inspired.

Hey—-great work! I have been teaching high school for 14 years but I am on a leave of absence this year to help take care of my mom…and after that I am not sure what my future will be…thanks for adding me as a buddy and look forward to seeing more of your work!
