Robert, you are not the only one in need of good ideas. Everybody suffers from that problem, so don’t let it get you down. That good table idea will come to you when you least expect it. Also don’t worry too much about spelling. I notice that quite a few people have trouble with spelling, but we still understand what they are talking about, and that’s the most important thing. Also don’t worry about how smart you are because being smart does not make a human being a better person.

You know, I have the same problem some times. I go to the shop for inspiration and just get side-tracked.

Don’t worry about it. Inspiration will come when you least expect it and you will be on a roll.

Robert, I tend to be in the same boat at times. There are times I go into the shop ready to get started on the latest project I am building and I get distracted with something else. Of course, this leads my wife to “comment” about how little progress I am making. And at times I just sit and wait for the wood to give me inspiration.

I do not believe that there are many people around that are just a constant fountain of creatitivity and artistic ideas. I constantly pound my head against the wall trying to come up with new ideas and the wall generally gets the best ot it.
When a creative idea pops up I try to draw it on paper, wrrite notes and go from there. Creatitivity is like anything else…the more you work at it the better it gets and the easier it comes.
