Hi
I live in rural Ontario/Canada just south of cottage country on a small 25 acre hobby farm with my lovely bride and her three children, 4 dogs, several chickens, one rooster, one parrot, one lizard, several finches, 12 ducks and over 100 homing pigeons. Combine that with ever growing gardens and two of my own children at university........I'm a busy boy.
I have too many hobbies including carving, flowers, painting/drawing, cooking which includes my BBQ and smoker as well as my full time passion of woodworking.
My three favorite forms of self help therapy are (and not necassarily in order) fishing, hunting and gardening. Some might say that all these have one commen element............you get to kill something (kidding?). I'm also as avid water skier and love the snowy slopes of B.C. Did I mention swimming?
I've studied engineering in school, but alas, my childhood passion for building things has resulted in over 25 years as a full-time cabinet maker/joiner.
All the Best

Welcome to LumberJocks. Glad to have you aboard.
I’m from Ontario in my first life. I left there when I was 13.

I love the Santa icon, did you know it is 86 days to Christmas? :) Any chance you have a larger image of the icon? He looks really cool.
And welcome to Lumberjocks

I was hoping to see some of your work. Guss I’ll need to wait. I thought your input on “Working from home” was right on the money.
PS. I went to your website. Very nice. You have some spectacular work. Maybe you will share some on the projects page of this site someday, for those who may not make it to your website.

Gawd! That is some excellent work you do. You need to be in S.E. GA where you can teach woodworking!

Your furniture is amazing – courageous too! So much variety – looked at your website! I may carve but I couldn’t build a birdhouse if I tried. Still can’t figure out my joiner to laminate my carving pieces – and I’ve had it for 15 years! Super work!
