Been installing flooring, wainscoting, paint, and fireplace. This is taking longer than I had anticipated. I am quickly running out of time. Here are some pictures.

The fireplace is made of layered mdf. i then took a rag and dabbed on some joint compound to give it that texture. I think it came out pretty good.
See ya next time…

oh my. I just looked back at your previous posts and this thing is impressive. I thought I read at first this was a dollhouse, but then when quickly looking at a couple pictures here I had to double check haha

thanks… yes i think i am putting more detail than needs to be into this but thats how i am. i still have a whole another floor to do yet. the second floor is just going to be some wallpaper and some kind of flooring that i can find that looks like carpeting. if you looked at my drawings in the first entry to this there is a full size attic and two flights of stairs. time restraints have eliminated the second set of stairs and the attic is going to be nothing more than a crawl space with a shallow pitch roof. it will be shorter this way and she would have had to reach up into the attic anyway. and like i said… i’m quickly running out of time. i bought the first sheet of plywood feb 16 and this has to be done by may 14 and i’m not on the second floor yet. the pieces are cut but not up.
but i’m having fun. my wife says i need to get busy doing some of this in our real house! lol
