Hi
I've been an artist most of my life. I am married with three kids who are all artist as well. I primarily create in wood however I do some art in other areas as well. My latest projects have all been in African Mahogany. I have worked in Pine and some other woods as well.

I really like working with geometry and I love the challenge of making something that is symmetrical within a strong geometrically form. It sounds difficult but really it just means you start with a solid very rigid shape. Divided it into quarters...

G’day Rod, Have had a look at all your projects and you certainly have great carvings skills, like the geometrically
form you work to. Look forward to more of your projects and maybe picking up on your style of carving, it looks very interesting. Glad to read you use a Dremel, a must for any serious carver.
