My garage used to be much cleaner before I had about 3 big projects (a bed, a table, a refinishing project for a vanity) that have cluttered up the garage/shop.
Anyhow, here are a few ‘before’ pictures and soon I hope to complete the bed to at least give me a bit more room to move around in…
Enjoy.

Rob, you have a nice space in which to work but I can empathize with you about the “non-essentials” that are stored in there. It would be nice if there was someplace else to put them besides YOUR shop. It seems that whenever my wife decides that something needs to be stored (meaning that she can’t bear to part with it) invariably it ends up in MY shop taking up MY space. :) But, of course, the bikes, ladders and lawn mower needs homes as well. I am just glad to see that you don’t have to put a vehicle in there as well.
You have some nice tools to play with as well. Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed visiting your shop.

Howdy to another fellow Texan:
I’m addicted to cruising LJ looking at folks shops. While running down the list I saw you were from TX and took a look. I recognize that Ryobi bench router table with the Ridgid router hanging underneath. I bought both 2 years ago. I don’t like the power switch location on the Ridgid and the plunge action is a little rough, and the plunge lock is a bit awkward. Otherwise it butchers wood pretty well. The table, hey for a $100 bucks, it works better than I thought it would. Mine sits on a pretty study all wood low cabinet my neighbor was throwing away. I got it home on my sons red wagon. That bandaw you got, your probably ready for an upgrade. I’d take the Delta off your hands when you get ready ;)
