After I had read your message I have tried to call Stefang. I couldn’t contact him. I also couldn’t contact his wife.

Below a part of Mike (AKA Stefang) his mail which I got from him yesterday.

I’m not in very good shape right now. My back and knees have put me out of action for the time being and I’m experiencing a lot of constant pain. I hope you will understand that I can’t really enjoy talking to my friends just now.

I received this PM from Stefang… I think he would approve of me posting it… saving him to repeat & REPEAT it to others…

Stefang NEEDS our prayers… So, let’s all join in and do what we can… OK?

========================================

Hi Joe,

Thanks much for your concern. I’m not doing too well right now. Terrific pains in back and knees, and other joints too. I’m going into hospital soon and I hope they will figure how to get me some relief. Meanwhile I am mainly just sitting as I can barely move around. I have kind of lost interest in LJ for the time being as it just reminds me of what I can’t do. I will be back as soon as I can get back on my feet and into the shop again. If not, I have had a pretty good run and can’t really complain. I hope everything is well for you and your family.

Best wishes,
Mike

Sad to hear he is not well, was just talking about him today in the shop.
I will send him all my good thoughts now.
Just thought his wife was keeping him busy as she usually do in the summer.
Thanks guys,
Mads
