My son asked me to make some In and Out trays for his office.
A plastic Tray is possibly $2.50 at a Office suppliers, so I thought it best to compete with that price, yeah right.

I had just received a supply of timber from my favourite supplier and in it was included some planks of New Guinea Rosewood.

Having never worked with it before and seeing the results Larry got with his bookshelf/bookcase I decided it was time to see how it worked for myself.

As I was going to do a set up to prepare it I decided I may as well prepare the lot in one go.
So here we go
Initial stock looked like this.

So I inspected it worked out the bows, etc and determined the grain direction ready for my jointer and added a chalk arrow.
Ran it through the jointer for planning and squareness.
