Went into pay and thats when the sticker shock came this haul of wood cost me a 485 dollars . It can add up quick. You may want to scan the local CL and see if you can spot some deals on there. The longer you look, the better chance at success. Retail dollars dont go too far in the wood world. But if you find a deal on CL $485 could be two pickup trucks full. Good luck with the projects.

Hey Now!!! That is some nice looking lumber. As ShaneA mentioned above, big bucks don’t seem to go very far at the hardwood dealer….found that out when I told my wife “I can build a crib for less than we can buy one”. Man, I was wrong! Not sure how busy craigslist is in your area, but that really is a good place to start. Also, try www.woodfinder.com you can search for dealers in your area…..might turn up something.

This looks really nice. You’re gonna put a lot of thought into how you use it all and I predict a long, useful life for all this hardwood. Have fun!
