How do I dress a grinding wheel that is way out of round? - 10 replies

I have a low speed delta wet grinding wheel that is about 1/8 ” out of round. I want to use sharpening jigs with it. How do I true this wheel? Will a diamond dresser take off that much material with out wearing out?

I bought a block 3” x 3” x 26”. It is yellow/cream colured and very heavy. I would like to make a plane out of it. Is this wood a good choice for a plane?
