Well, I sanded it and put a coat linseed oil and wax.

That is very cool. I followed your blog but don’t think I could build it! You should post this in the “projects” section.

Thank you. It is really just an exercise in layout and chopping mortises. Helps to have a band saw that cuts STRAIGHT. Mine swerved a little and took about two hours with a hand plane to fix it.
