Retired, Aerospace Engineer for 45 years. Have been an avid woodworker for the past 50 years. Emigrated from Scotland to Detroit in June 1957 with a Tool and Die apprenticeship completed. Worked with GM Fisherbody as die designer while there. Moved to California in Nov. of 1961 and started Aerospace Career there on Pearl Harbor Day, Dec 7th, 1961. Was with the same firm until March 31, 1998. Continued part time work as a technical consultant until August of 2006. Now I'm able to work most of the time in my garage woodshop on numerous projects.
