I enjoyed your video and have a couple of questions. I have seen flame maple but never in my area the Northeast where does it originate ? Also I have never heard the term headstock veneer what does it mean ?

@tomD : another name is pacific coast maple

Headstock veneer is a piece of wood that is used to place on the headstock of a guitar.
