Thicknessing honduras rosewood

Hello fellow LJ’s

There is nothing better than thicknessing nice wood. You put a piece of rough timber in at one end and see the figure pop out at the other end….It’s magic !!

I agree Rick. I still get a thrill out of watching what comes out of the planer.

And it’s not just visual.
One of my favourite things is planing Yellow (Alaska) Cedar. The smell takes me right back to the old shipyards I worked in my twenties.
