Here’s my version of mikeho’s clamps posted earlier. While they are not unlike Rockler’s I think they are beefier, the nut is up on top, and I can make 3x as many for the price of the others. FWIW I used 3/8” x 5” U bolts (but the square ones whatever they are called), 1/4” pipe, and 1” x 3/16” flat stock. I’ve been needing these for a while and these work great!

Very innovative, nice clamps. Excellent job! Thanks for sharing. I need to make some of those.

Thanks, for adding to my shop “To-Do” list!!! It’s not like I don’t have enough to do already! I knew LJs was going to be the death of me. There just isn’t enough hours in a day to accomplish everything. I will have to give up something.

Let’s see, what are my choices???
1) Shop improvement time
2) LJs time
3) Project build time
4) Real job time

That’s an easy choice, but how am I going to pay for all my shop time, internet access, project materials & supplies??? Anyone want to buy a bridge in brooklyn?

Have your say...
