I got an email from http://lumberjocks.com/didierld this person today: didierld. This guy (or girl) is a horrific spammer.. beware do not reply to this guy unless you want to do as I did- tell him to GET OFF THIS SITE. I don’t know how to report this person to the moderator? Could someone either tell me how to report the person so he and she can bug off? Thanks!

Just send a private to Martin. He will remove and block spammers.

Thanks, I’m new to this Blog and it’s really nice to know that there’s folks that care about taking the time to remove un-wanted bloggers and spammers. Thanks to all.

Hey, Martin, you might want to take this opportunity to explain to Kelly and some of the others why they might not want to show their email address on their posts. I realize that some show their email for reasons – because maybe they have a business or whatever. However, some people, especially newbies might not understand why it might not be a good idea to show your email address. It’s not any of my business and I wouldn’t presume to advise people on something like this but it is your business – so to speak. I just thought that you might make a general post about it or just add to this one.

I agree with helluvawreck.

although it’s a warm invite for good folk, it’s also a free-for-all invite for spammer, and worse.

Totally agree with helluvawreck. If you want to give out your email, do it through a PM to a user.

rivergirl, I’m really glad to see that you took your email off. Now, you can add a nice subline in it’s place. BTW, let me take the opportunity to welcome you again to Lumberjocks. I’ve looked at your projects and you really make some nice things and your house is full of some beautiful furnishings. Keep up the good work. I know that you will love LJ.

Yes -you have been crazy busy! (my house always looks like that that too)
-just show people your yard and work and tell them, honestly, “this is my home!”
-I can’t help with spam, just hope i don’t get it; i would imagine my computer prefers a low-sodium diet.
