Ridgid 4512 Table Saw #1: Assembly hints
Just assembled my Ridgid 4512 table saw (heavy) and Bull Dog Pro Max cast iron router table. Both well made pieces of equipment. When assemblying table saw consider these ideas. They worked for me: Place table saw upside down on an 8’ piece of 2×8 with a smaller length beside it for stability.Don’t add top extensions until saw is upright (contrary to instructions)Make sure the side panel with “Ridgid” and 4 holes on it will be on the left side when saw is upright (the holes are to mount the fence storage brackets).Don’t tighten the caster bolts too tight as they need to move up and down (instructions just say to tighten)When setting up right, use ...
