I have been passionate about design and craftsmanship all my life, I've lots of books here on many subjects and since Jan 1983 have been self employed in my own workshop.
Its probably best to read more about me from my workshop blog than my sales website, therefore have a look at http://richardkell.livejournal.com and please 'delve deep', I think theres some very interesting material, ie my post 'repairing reels for jamie' is quite unique.
You will also find my products at my website with paypal ie http://richardkell.co.uk which since Aug 2013 has the new large rollers available for my no.1 and no.2 honing guides, as retro-fit or fully assembled; no.2 now offered as std with large rollers, from the linked youtube vid you will see it is an absolute winner.
I have done masses of handturning over the years in wood and metal and sometimes hundreds of times every day can be using hand tools on my own turned components, honing guides etc .... theres very few ppl in England do that now (if any). Users have said they cannot believe its not made on CNC ! .. thats a nice compliment.
Heres a vid for the new large wheel no.2 honing guide ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBz2hAhfhDQ
