currently my workshop is long one wall of my two car garage. I’m still in process of making it a working space so that I can work in there, as well as clean up to park a vehicle in it. Open to any suggestions! :)

Alright! so I finally had the time to update my shop a bit. I’m taking the plunge and getting rid of the rickety old workbench that the previous homeowner or two ago left in the garage that I couldn’t do a thing with and going to build a new mobile workbench. In the meantime I’ve managed to put up some shelves to get my tools off of the floor or table top, as well as found a spot for my small clamp selection (to get them off of the table as well). I’ve also put up some wood storage along the back side of the garage. That’s a work in progress! More pictures to come later of the clamp area.

Rhybeka, how about posting some pictures of your shop when you get the opportunity? Visual tours of other shop are always a welcome post.

I can empathize with you about the garage/shop dilemma. I tried for years to keep a shop and a garage but eventually just gave up and started letting my truck sit outside. Now I don’t have to set up and tear down my tools and, with the truck outside, I have room for more tools!! :)

ok guys – I’ll work on those pics – I need to do some cleaning up out there anyway :) And a dropable work table to install :) It’s amazing that my house can look like a disaster but my workbenches can be the cleanest thing :D Guess that means I’m not getting out there very much.

Welcome to Lumberjocks, Rhybeka. Your space will work. Put everything on rollers so you can pull it out when the cars out.
