it was one of those times that Facebook was actually helpful. I was going north to Amish country with my SO for two days and someone from one of the FB groups I'm in linked a blog post from 2014 I think. It was about a tool place near where we were going to be, along with a few pics. My SO was game to let me check it out, so we did. And boy was I glad! Dan is a very nice guy and took a few moments to make recommendations to this new hand tool worker and chat about how he came across the few items I had 'rescued'. He is a total unplugged woodworker, with his workshop being on the backside of the tool store.
I believe he told me it was a bed. He told me they do offer classes - when they aren't busy, and right now he's backed up by a bit. He also recommended the best ice cream place in town when I was finished to make up for what I'd spent in his shop. I only made it through the main level of the store, there's more planes and toolboxes in the basement from what the sign and Dan said. Here's a few of the pics I managed in between Wow's:
So if you're ever looking for somewhere to go hide out in Amish country, I'd highly recommend this place. it's located at 144 W Jackson St. Millersburg, Ohio.
