just thought I’d attach my first shot at a sketch up idea for this table. I know it’s far from where it needs to be but at least the concept is there. This is the combination of the two tables mentioned in the post before. This will give us the storage we need, and allow me to showcase my other hobby (even if it’s just at Christmas time) :)

I just ran across this post and wondered why you called it a Lego table?
I also wanted to know how this project turned out … is it started … or complete?
Are the casters going to be locking casters?

@ Chrisysue one of my many hobbies other than woodworking is Legos :)
@ oldnovice – it’s going to be a lego table because it’s going to have a lego display on top at all times. The top and sides will have plexiglass or glass in them to be looked in/through. Not necessarily for playing on (like a kids lego table). I haven’t been able to start this project since technically I don’t have the room for it yet. That will hopefully be changing here shortly. :) Then I just have to figure out how to afford the wood once the basement is finished :) The casters will most likely be locking casters. since it will be larger than a normal coffee table and it will be in the same room as a sofa couch, it will need to be moveable.
