Location: Spring, Texas

Retired owner of a Mechanical/Electrical Consulting Engineering business.

After a lifetime of intrigue with the art of woodworking, and at the prodding of my son, I decided to take the plunge in early 2009. I'm just a beginner and my work shows it, but I'm not discouraged. To date I've only completed 3 projects--end grain cutting board, trolly cart and a broom closet. Currently working on a bench for my son's mud room.

Have accumulated a fair number of tools, but still have some missing pieces. My cars have been elbowed out of what once was a garage, and I am slowly reshapiing the space into a work shop.

Looking forward to learning and sharing with you experts.
