no previous part Part 1 of pour on finishes series no next part

I made this project for my truck it holds my small laptop gps. And a cup holder.
I always wanted to make a basket weave project.

I have had this product for a long time and was Leary of it. And now it won’t get hard it has been over a week now. The lady from the factory said I didn’t mix it enough and the age didn’t effect it . has anyone ever ran into this and do you have a solution == she said scrap it off and recoat it. It is to thick to scrap.

Mix a batch correctly and recoat it. If it is mixed correctly the second coat will cure properly. That enviro-tex has no UV inhibitors in it and will yellow out almost immediately if it is in direct sunlight. Ask me how I know that.

I did the same thing with a beer mug I made. I waited a couple of weeks for it to cure, but it never got past the tacky stage. I bought some resin set spray it help a little but it still was tacky….until a friend told me to re-coat it and that worked. So in short Bruce is right.

well I did it recoated last night very humid but IT’S HARD THIS MORNING*_. LOOKS LIKE IT WILL WORK

thank you very much. I think the secret is letting it set after mixing . I was afraid it would set up to fast.
but this time I waited and you could see the bubbles come to the top in the container. I waited about 3-4 min. before I poored it on.

Good job, If I mix a heavey batch I put it into a vacuum bell jar and pump down on it for a minut or two
