I’ve had this saw for about two years. It’s too bad that Rdgid quit manfacturing this saw cause its great saw to own. I have no mechanical problems at all with this saw. I do have the same complaints that everybody else that owns one of these saws has with it. The fence is my biggest problem, the two piece rail has a bump where it connects and I’ve also noticed that when you are cutting 1/4’’ and smaller ply it wants to slide under the fence a little bit. just as a disclaimer my last table saw was a craftsman benchtop tablesaw. It worked well for what it was meant for but I was quickly running into its limitations and was getting quite upset with it. I thought I’d post a review of my Ridgid 4511 Granite table saw for those who are interested. I purchased this in the spring w/ the ultimate power deal (or whatever they call it) for about $450. I’ve used it for several small projects now and have been pleased w/ the saw, but like most things in life, it wasn’t perfect. Pros:Granite top is uberflat. And hard. And rust free. Nice fence, easy to adjust and accurate, also easy to add faces (UHMW, etc) Herculift base is really amazin...

To be fair , I was waiting to write this review after I tackled the last (and only) issue I’ve had with this saw as to give a proper review of it’s operation, and not limited by any aspect of missing/malfunctioning parts out-of-the-box. my ‘limitation’ was that the fence had a slight disposition issue once locked all the way down (was fine if locked half way – it would stay put and stay on the mark – but if the lock handle was pushed further, it would skew ...
