First this was an upgrade from my 15 year old Craftsman 14.4 volt cordless drill. I was unable to source batteries for it and it finally died. That being said I got this at my local HD with a 20% Harbor freight coupon and 10% veteran discount. Taking it out of the box, my first impression was that it was very light and didn’t seem “hefty” enough. That being said, I noticed right away that the batteries had charge indicators on them and they both were at 2 lights out of 4...

Great drill...but

Great drill...but

This drill has alot of long lasting power and when the battery goes dead..it’s dead! We received 2 batteries and it doesn’t take long to recharge the dead one. The downfall I have with this-the bit loosens when in reverse. You really have to hold to tighten the chuck…but for me the bit still drops on the floor. I may find something to add around it as the plastic tends to just slip from my grip and it can hurt. With the 18V it’s a bit on the heavier side but the power ...
