I have one of these and I really like it. I had a problem with vibration but I solved that by mounting it on a 5/8 thick piece of plywood and then bolting down on a stand made for this scroll saw. I have only one complaint with this scroll saw and every other brand I have ever owned and that is lubricating the bearings. I wish there was a simpler way to do this. Manual says lay it on its side and oil the bearings let soak 24 hrs. flip it over and do the same on the other side. Other than that...

Last year on my birthday(had to chuckle about the timing) my Ryobi scrollsaw that we got at a yard sale bit the dust. My wife in her loving ways said lets go to Home Depot and see what they have. I had been looking for a Delta variable speed but no one had it so she said how about the Dremel 18 inch saw (when she is in this mood I never say no) and we bought it at that time on sale for $199.00 and took it home, setup was easy and I just mounted it on the stand I made for the ryobi with a co...
