I recently used this jig to do half blind dovetails for a shadowbox I was building. The jig came with a half inch dovetail bit with bearing, Allen wrench to set the depth gauge, the jig it self and instructions. The instructions were fairly easy to understand after you read it carefully. I decided to do half blind dovetails so it took me a couple practice pieces on scrap wood to get the fit just the way I want. I have been looking for a dovetail jig for the longest time and was looking at the leigh and the omni jig but I found out that you are limited. So I woent looking for one and found this one at homedepot for $40. Now I was a bit skeptical at first but when I got it home and used it for the first time after reading the manual and watching the dvd that is included, it is the easiest jig to use in my personal opinion. When I first saw this jig advertised I said, ”$34.99 are you kidding me? It’s got to be a piece of *#@&!” I had never used a dovetail jig before but heard some horror stories from people who have used some of the “cheap” jigs. I looked at a few videos online and from what I could tell, for less than 35 bucks with a dovetail bit included, the EZ Pro Dovetail Jig was worth a try.
