For anyone that doesnt have a dedicated shop space this saw is great. I have to set up and tear down my shop every weekend and this is the perfect table saw for me. Pros:Cuts everything I have thrown at it so far. I have owned my Ridgid portable for two and half years and now the brushes need replacing. This will be a two week wait for the parts to come in. I will borrow my Dad’s 60 year old Sears table saw while I wait.A life time warranty does not make up for quality.I don’t recall my father’s saw needing repair and if it did the parts were readily available. I bought this saw after some research. Age old argument Bosch vs. Ridgid. It was on sale at Home Depot, so argument settled. When I first bought it I had not shop or shed. It folded right up and sat in the living room. UtilityI have built countless window screens, ripped trim, and even cut the 7’ parts for giant garage doors with this baby. I purchased the TS2400LS in late December 2006. I needed a powerful and feature laden portable table saw for my workshop. I reviewed other portable saws including: Bosch 4000-09 Dewalt 774 I did not review the Makita 2704X1 it was not available at that time.
