I recently purchased a 2 hp dust collector from harbor freight and found,that for the money, it is a very good tool. Assembly was pretty straight forward and took about 2 hours.Yyou should keep a sense of humor when doing that as the instructions are pretty vague and not very accurate as far as descriptions. I bought this to replace a jet DC-650 and it does have considerable more suction pressure and moves a lot more air. All though not as much as the delta counter part which was 3 times the...

So, we will be moving into a new house this summer and I will be moving my woodworking tools to the basement from the garage, where opening the garage door and running a shop vac provided adequate ventiliation and dust collection. I am very pleased with the 2hp HF. I caught it on sale for $151.99. I could not be any happier with the big difference in suction power. This was well worth the price. Knowing what I know now, the jet unit was a waste of my time and money. This unit is twice as good! God bless

A Year ago when I was building my shop, I was shopping around for a dust collector to be the heart of my system. I looked at general, jet, grizzly etc. But then I read several really postive reviews on the HF 2hp model. I had a coupon for 169.00 for it so I figured why not. Let me tell you this thing is at least the equal of all of those other’s! I actually got a chance to examine a jet, and a grizzly….and they are almost identical.(makes you wonder if there not made in the same ...
