Overall great first compressor but with a design flaw

I purchased this from Home Depot for $199 which includes the compressor, 10ft of pretty flexible hose, and a nice 16ga Porter Cable Finishing Nailer that takes straight 16ga nails up to 2 1/2” and operates from 75-120psi. The finish nailer alone is worth around $160. This was my first compressor I’ve purchased. Overall for a first small use compressor I really liked it at first. The pressure builds up very quickly. After 15 years with my Craftsman 3 Gallon 125 PSI compressor, the brushes finally went. I looked about replacing the brushes which cost 1/2 the price of a new unit, since I have had many years of good service from this unit, I entertained the idea of buying new brushes. That was months ago and still no compressor, (WHAT?!?, Ive been busy!). !!!!Update 4/17/13. SO I’ve been using this product for several months now. Its been flawless. I’ve used it for nailers, inflation, clean-up, and impact wrenches. It runs them all well. I originally mentioned that I disliked the orientation of the gauges. Senco positioned them facing inboard, rather than outboard. However, that hasn’t proved to be an issue in reality.
