If you have ever been frustrated by bar clamps that just don’t want to stand up straight, then these are for you! My bar clamps are old style with skinny feet and no padding between the clamp and the wood. Clamping blocks take care of the contact with your project, but we all have enough to worry about when gluingup not to have to worry about the clamps toppling over! I have had two of these clamps for about 1 year. I bought them because I am a bit of a sucker for new tools. I received a pair of these 12’’ clamps as a gift. I have never used one handed clamps before this pair. Now whenever I have a clamping job, I grab these right away. It’s almost like having an extra hand, & they have plenty of clamping power. They provide 550 lbs of one-handed force (900 lbs of two-handed force). I also like the soft no-slip jaws, & you can reverse them to push things apart, such as chair rungs, or when dry fitting cabinet parts. ...
