Well, at the Seattle Woodworking show ..I watched them slowly push the Forrest blade thru the wood and no burn marks…..I was fascinated …I even came back the next day and watched again ….I finally bought a Chopmaster online from Forrest for my Radial arm saw …I received it and it sat on the saw table for 2 weeks as i was in the middle of other things …I finally installed it on my Craftsman Radial Arm saw and at the first cut ..I was amazed . NOTE: the model number for the TS blade is 100VT50 Just as stated in the review for the circular saw blade, this is a great blade. I went to my local supplier for a thin-kerf Woodworker II but they were out. The guy I usually talk to told me I should give it a try. I first saw this blade demonstrated at a woodworking show, and was amazed at the smoothness of each cut. The guy not only used the same blade throughout the 3 day show, but intentionally stopped pushing a piece through a cut, removed his hand, and answered a question. I have been using cheap and hand-me-down blades ever since I got my first tablesaw a couple years ago. Sawing has always been loud. Smoke and dust always looming in the near future for anything thicker than 1/2”. I hadn’t been too pleased with my last purchase. Go figure $10 is not going to cut too well. I have a Delta 10” Compound Mitre saw. I bought the Freud LU88 saw blade for my Craftsman table saw a couple weeks ago, and WOW, what a difference it made when I cut some test pieces. Buying the LU88 was a HUGE step up for me, and I really noticed the improvement on my cross-cuts. Nice and smooth, hardly bogged down at all (Craftsman 10” 2.5hp TABLE SAW) on 3/4” oak, at least not like my old blade. My question is, will the LU88 blade also work in my compound mitre saw ? ...

My son bought this blade 13 years ago, and in addition to all the furniture projects in the home shop he is a contractor for helping build homes. This blade is his only blade, and was used on site to cut everything for four houses. After cutting some very dense 31/2” Oak, he says it must be time for it’s FIRST sharpen, and intends for no one but Forrest to do it. It still cuts softer wood like butter.Billyup
