I picked up this blade about 4 months ago while in the middle of a remodeling project. I have the el cheapo 12” sliding miter saw from HF and I still had the original blade on it that came with the saw, which is absolute junk. I had not really cut much on it and it was so dull that it was burning through things more than it was cutting! I could get it through a modern 2×4 with some effort but it was getting ridiculously dangerous to cut anything on it. The wall we were cutting ...

I’ve been sitting on these blades for a while as I have been quite busy. Brand new in the package I have a 24 tooth Diablo rip blade, and a 24 tooth Irwin Marples rip blade. I did a comparison of the diablo/Marples 50 tooth blades, but the Diablo I had was used a few times. This time for comparisons sake, both are brand spankin new. Great value chisel set.Any woodworker will laugh at the state of sharpness of these. The packaging states `Sharpened & ready to use but a bit of sharpening on the oilstone got them to a razer egde.
