Re-sawing is a breeze

I’ve been frustrated resawing on my bandsaw. I have a Craftsman (Rikon) 12” that serves me well. I thought I’d just use my Olson 1/2” 3 tpi skip blade, but my results were really frustrating to me. The cut was rough and labored. I did a little research and realized I had some technique problems, but the cut still was not acceptable to me. Here is some pictures of the log I cut. The right half was done with a resaw blade that I got with my bandsaw from the previous owner and the left half is with the wood slicer. A little nicer I think. I bought both a 1/2” ...
