Great Clamps Period, the price is just a bonus

Great Clamps Period, the price is just a bonus

This is a bar clamp from Harbor Freight. I only bought two because I wasn’t sure how good it would be and some stuff from there is junk. These beauties only cost me $3.99 each but when I got them home and used them I could not believe the value in this purchase. The screw has a very nice rubberized grip which i like alot better than a simple wood handle. The rubber pads are nice and study and actually stay on, I tightened these puppies down and they did not slip at all. I bet if...

Harbor Freight Dial Indicator with flex mount

Harbor Freight Dial Indicator with flex mount

I purchased this dial indicator to align my table saw. I choose this unit because, rather then getting a magnetic base, this unit uses a vise grip type pliers and a flexible shaft. The flexible shaft consists of a series of tubes and round rings. Inside the tubes and rings is a steel cable. On one end of the shaft is a mounting clamp for the dial indicator, and also a screw adjustment to adjust the over all length of the shaft. On the other end is a boss that screws into the vise grip pliers a...

Harbor freight F clamps

Harbor freight F clamps

Harbor freight had some clamps on sale, $2.99 for 6in, $4.49 for 18in so I decided at that price I didn’t have anything to lose. I bought 10 6in and a few 18in. I wanted the 20in too but they were on back order. They came in the other day and I am very impressed. I have alot of the bessy F clamps and these actually seem to be heavier duty. They are machined great, look great, and they meet perfectly in center. They look just like the pic http://www.harborfreight.com/6-inch-bar-clamp-962...

Perhaps it is a little premature to give a fair or accurate review on this tool. But I have seen some reviews and issues in past reviews, (on 6” models) and thought I would weigh inwith my first impressions with the 8” Pittsburgh caliper . We woodworkers rely on accuracy and reliability of our measuring tools. Its important that we have at our disposal several ways to measure. One helpful measuring device is the caliper. With it you can measure very accurately and in small i...

3 Piece Curved Jaw Locking Pliers Set

3 Piece Curved Jaw Locking Pliers Set

1122 days ago by Raymond | 4 comments »

What a great set of 3 locking plyers 5” 7” and 10”. 6.99 holds tight, nice confortable handles. Adjusting screws work smothly and the jaws don’t move from side to side when you apply pressure. Nice deep groves in the jaws to hold tight. Jaws did not spring either when really reefing on them. Another great find
