I am relatively new to the field of woodworking and my experience with more complex joinery is very limited, so I appreciate any device/jig/contraption that makes my entry into this area a little more simple. I have seen many different types of doweling jigs out there, but Wolfcraft put together an item that is both inexpensive and very simple to use. The Wolfcraft 3751405 Dowel Pro Doweling Jig Kit comes with the doweling jig pictured, an extra board clamp to keep the board you are working o...

I needed the press to make the holes straight. The press came partially assembled. Not a problem to complete. Everything seems rugged, not quite as heavy as expected. The test was drilling a one inch hole in a 2 inch thick particle board to a depth of 1.5 inches. When using the press, it locks up. This is ...

Wolfcraft 3681404 One-Handed Ratcheting Band Clamp

Wolfcraft 3681404 One-Handed Ratcheting Band Clamp

The Wolfcraft Ratcheting Band Clamp has become the ‘go-to’ clamp in this shop when doing final glue up on projects requiring ‘all-around’ clamping. With one hand on the clamp handles, the other hand is free to adjust the strap, align the pieces being glued or positioning of corner blocks and strap guide as seen in the photo. By depressing the release button and guiding the strap with one finger you can slowly draw in the strap until the parts are in alignment and the fit is to your sati...
