Bostich BT200k 18 Gauge Pneumatic Brad Nailer. The unit came with a case, instructions and warranty. The housing is magnesium and is very lite weight (listed at 6 lbs). It is also oil free, which I find to be a plus. There is an adjustable depth control and a sequential trip mechanism. Recommended air pressure is 70psi to 120 psi. It will shoot brads from 5/8” to 2”. This is a factory reconditioned item and comes with a 1 year warranty. Cost was $34.99 including shipping from ...

What is wrong with Bostitch?

What is wrong with Bostitch?

I bought a compressor not too long ago. It ran good for a while and now the pressure doesn’t build up. From what I read it is the valve assembly. I don’t know if I should replace it or just buy another brand. I thought Bostitch made good tools but this just changed my opinion. I read that one person actually replaced it 3 times. Am I wasting my time with this one? Should I toss it and buy another brand? Any opinions would be appreciated. I think I will be staying away from Bostitc...

I can’t say enough about this man and his public relation’s skills, but he delivered on every promise he made, and that is exceptional in this day and age. I e-mailed...

I love this brad nailer. i got it a Lowe’s for about 80 dollars and it hasn’t failed me since. it has never jammed and the performance has been great. i decided on this brad nailer because it had a 7 year warranty and it was the only one under 100 dollars to accept brads up to 2”. i like how its oil free too. this is my first brad nailer so i don’t know how much of a good thing that is but my dad (who has had nailers you need to oil) says that its good. now more on ...

A while back I gave a negative review to this 2-in-1 brad / stapler with compressor, here on Lumberjocks. I was recently contacted by the “Director of Product Developement at Stanely Bostich.” I Quote, ” Your post regarding your frustrating experience with our compressor just came across my desk. First, I would like to apologize for the inconvience and frustration this problem caused you. For a short period of time, the valve plate was out of our specification which could le...
