6 Piece Pneumatic Scraper Kit

6 Piece Pneumatic Scraper Kit

An odd find that actually works very well is this 6 Piece Pneumatic Scraper Kit i bought it with the idea to use it as a power chisel. I adaped some wood working chisels to work with this. It is very quiet yet has 3500 BPM and an air consumption of 4 cfm at 90. It is a nice compact unit and fits the hand well. I have used it to remove a great deal of wood that with a chisel and hammer would have taken much more time. Other features are built in regulator to vary the amount of force applied. F...

1/8 Micro Die Grinder

1/8 Micro Die Grinder

Another trip to Harbor Freight the other day finds me bringing home a few more air tool. This little grinder reminds me of the dentist, even sounds like the dentist. 56000 Rpm, 2 CFM @ 90 PSI. The twist on off feature is ok but not very user friendly. I am working on a foot control. It feels nice in the hand and has tons of power. No vibration and the hose is very flexible. 1 year warentee, and came with all the fittings. If your looking for an inexpensive 22.99 $ high speed tool this just mi...

1/4" Angle Die Grinder

1/4" Angle Die Grinder

Another good Harbor Freight find in my opinion was this little angle grinder. 1/4” 20000 RPM 3 CFM @ 90 PSI. The 1/8 collet from the other die grinder I purshased the last time I was at Harbor Freight fits this grinder. Pleanty of power, and does not bog down under a load. Like most HF air tools this one did not come with the fitting. I really wish they would include them. This is great for getting into hard to reach spaces. And it was on sale 14.99. Can’t go wrong. Like most of H...

Despite being kind to me, 4 years of use has been unkind to this compressor

Despite being kind to me, 4 years of use has been unkind to this compressor

If there’s one tool I use every time I try to get any woodworking done, it’s my HF air compressor. Everytime I get any woodworking done at home, the first tool I fire up is my compressor. I purchased it on a whim 4 years ago, and was giddy to have pneumatic power for the first time. This bare bones unit has (and continues) to serve it’s duty, driving nails (I have a HF 18 gauge brad nailer/stapler) and blowing compressed air. There isn’t much to say about how well ...
