LOCKTITE POWER GRAB is crap. I glued and clamped six large landscape tiles to a plywood board with Power Grab thinking it would be an improvement over my normal method of Gorilla Glue (sometimes a little messy). NOT I HAVE NEVER in all my years used anything that worked so poorly. REALLY REALLY BAD. Last night I applied 3/4 a tube to fasten my tiles to a plywood backer board. I lightly clamped the tiles with spring clamps and let it setup OVERNIGHT ... (over 20hours). Came home...

This product burned through my tub surround. I wasn’t too happy about the ugly brown stain, but thought I might have done something wrong. I used Locktite Power Grab to install some cleats to support some shelves in our 5th wheel. The surfaces were fairly slick, so I roughed them up a bit with 50 grit sandpaper. I tried this adhesive because the cabinets are fairly deep and narrow, It would be quite difficult to reach in to position,, hold and attach the cleats with screws. I’m going to keep this VERY simple … I strayed from this product today and regret it already. Ignore all other construction adhesives. PL Ploy is the one to use. It cures in 24 hours as long as the temperature and humidity are within a normal day. It’s much faster in the summer with high humidity and it’s slower in the winter when its cold and dry.
