First things first, some full disclosure. I am a “Frequent Flyer” when it comes to Shark Guards, I am on my 3rd Shark Guard, my first was an early model with a 2” port, the second, a 10.4 (4” port model) and now the SGK-1 with 4” port. Lee Styron, the owner of The Lee Way Workshop, and maker of the Shark Guard is also a long term contributing member of one of the forums I moderate on, and Lee gave me a good discount on this buy due to the above factors. Or, more accurately a "Shark Guard" by LeeWay Workshop. Installation I’ve only had the opportunity to install this today, so I haven’t really had a chance to fully put it through its paces. However, so far I am impressed. The improvised packaging the unit arrived in was demonstrative of its small shop origins; the actual contents, however, were not. Product web page: www.leestyron.com I have wanted to order a Shark Guard from Lee for quite some time. One night this winter I went for it. At the time he said (on the webpage) the wait was about 3-4 weeks. I didn’t get a confirmation email (maybe it got filtered) and somewhere around two months later I got the shipping notice for the guard.
